Maize Socks

The pattern written for two yarn weight and consist with two PDF files for fingering and DK yarn.

These socks are knitted top down with a variation of the Gerdina Crouford-Strong heel and a gusset construction (without picking up sts) and a wedge shaped toe. The pattern is written for the magic loop method but it can be easily adapted to DPN’s.

Skill level: Adventurous beginner / Intermediate.

US 1 / 2.25 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles or other sizes to obtain gauge.

410 – 426 yds (375 – 390 m) in 5.5 oz (150 g).

US 2.5 / 3 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles, or other size to obtain gauge.
